This RFPQ is being issued to commence the first stage of a two-stage procurement process for Traffic Control Services. The City is requesting Information to identify experienced and qualified Traffic Control Companies that have the capacity and capability to provide Traffic Control services that meet or exceed the requirements set out in this RFPQ document. The City is located in British Columbia, adjacent to the Canada-United States border, Greater Vancouver and the Fraser River and is the largest city by area, and fifth largest by population, in BC. Known as the Hub of the Fraser Valley, the City has a role in supporting and providing services, programs and amenities for its residents and strives to continually improve the quality of life within the community. As the cultural and economic center of the region, the City is home to centralized services and agencies including health care, court services, transportation, university, airport, provincial and federal government, entertainment and cultural facilities, and commerce. The purpose of this Request for Pre‑Qualification (RFPQ) is to solicit Responses from qualified Respondents—Traffic Control Companies — to support the City with Traffic Control Services as required. The subsequent qualified suppliers will be included on for the term of the agreement. This RFPQ may result in multiple supply agreements with Traffic Control Contractors that collectively provide the best overall value to the City. |
