This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective Respondents (“Respondents”) to qualify for eligibility to provide asphalt paving and related services for use by multiple City departments.

The Qualified Suppliers Roster established through this RFSQ is intended to be used by any City department to procure asphalt paving and related services.

The City of Abbotsford is undertaking two separate, but complementary, procurement processes for asphalt paving services.

RFP 1220-2026-4177 - Asphalt Resurfacing Program is intended to establish one Primary Contractor and one Secondary Contractor to support the City's annual asphalt resurfacing program and related Operations Department paving requirements.  

RFSQ 1220-2026-4212 - Asphalt Paving Services – Various City Departments – Roster is intended to establish a roster of prequalified contractors that may be used by multiple City departments for individual assignments with a contract value of up to $500,000. 

Interested proponents may submit responses to either or both opportunities. Where responding to both, proponents may find that much of the information prepared for one submission can be leveraged for the other, subject to addressing the specific requirements of each procurement.
