The City of Abbotsford is requesting proposals from professional, qualified, and experienced companies for the JAMES WWTP Solids Treatment Options Study.

The scope of the study includes:

  • Background review of existing documents and revalidation of previous recommendations.
  • Development of solids treatment options to address digesters' capacity during maintenance to meet the Biosolids Management Plan requirements.
  • Collection and management of O&M input on options.
  • Development of the cost estimate (Class C) and conceptual plans for at least three options
  • Development and comparison of 25-year NPV costs for the options
  • Development of final report and recommendations.
  • Perform pre-design for the selected solids treatment option.
