Description: 

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the replacement of the Vye Road Bridge (Structure ID BR-032 / R905) over the Sumas River. The existing bridge, constructed in 1960, has exceeded its design life and is exhibiting significant structural deterioration. The replacement bridge is required to maintain a safe and reliable connection for vehicular and non-vehicular traffic and to meet City’s design standards.

The term of the agreement is expected to start in January 2026 and end in June 2027.
