This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Engineering Services- Design, Tendering and Construction Phases of James WWTP Screw Pump No. 4 Installation and No. 1 Upgrades Project, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The term of the contract is expected to commence in February 2024 and ends in November 2024.

The Joint Abbotsford Mission Environmental System (JAMES) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is located at 5959 Gladwin Avenue in Abbotsford, BC, providing secondary treatment services for wastewater collected in the urban areas of Abbotsford, Mission, and City of Sumas in Washington, US. The Plant services an equivalent population of approximately 275,000 with an average treated flow of 55,000m³/day. The Consultant will be responsible for providing detailed design, tendering, construction service and post-construction service on this project.
